Back to His Roots

While walking along in Jerusalem Chebu stumbled upon this Russian joint. He was just so thrilled to see a bit of his homeland in the holy land.

He's still looking for the Yeltsin Bar and Grill down on Ben Yehuda Street.

Back to Nature

As part bear, part something adorable, Chebu likes to enjoy the outdoors. He actually believes he may be related to some old, extinct biblical creatures- so exploring the Negev desert was a powerful five minutes for the little bear-guinea pig.
Trying to fit in like his ancestors.

Chebu and the fountain of youth?

Hummus Addiction

Chebu can't get enough of the local Israeli cuisine. He practically went swimming in hummus every chance he could.

He has a problem. And he needs help.

Holy Chebu

The first stop on Chebu’s journey was the ancient city of Jerusalem. Chebu is Jewish but he is fascinated by religion and open to exploring new cultures and theologies. As a special home for so many religions, Jerusalem was a powerful place for the little guy.

He specifically wanted his picture to be taken with the golden Dome of the Rock in the background. (Chebu’s best friend Crocodile Gena is an aspiring Muslim who very much hopes to come to the Dome one day).

Chebu was a bit shy to go pray at the Western Wall (and he forgot his tefillin at home) so he opted to simply get his photo taken in front of the holiest site in Judaism.
